The Organic Market & Café at Stirling is nestled in amongst the trees in the hills just west of Adelaide.

It was a beautiful setting on a perfect day.

Those present included the owner of The Organic Market & Café, Mr Grahame Murray and other leading politicians and dignitaries, as well as many interested members of the public.

At around 10:30am the CEO of Australia's preeminent electric vehicle infrastructure provider, ChargePoint, James Brown opened the proceedings with a short introduction.

James then handed over the the owner of The Organic Market & Café; Mr Grahame Murray who said a few words.

Then it was time for SA's Minister for Sustainability Environment and Conservation, Hon Paul Caica MP to speak and then to perform the ChargePoint card swipe to officially open the Stirling charge points.

The Minister, assisted by ChargePoint CEO, James Brown, plugged the J1772 charging connector into one of the 6 Mitshubishi i-MiEVs present to demonstrate how simple it is.
On display were six Mitsubishi i-MiEVs and Jason Garrood's electric conversion which was originally a petrol driven Mitsubishi Lancer. (See photos below)

The installation includes this J1772 connector suitable for many commercially available electric cars and also a standard 240V 15Amp unit as well. The latter is on the left in the photos.

Grahame's staff were continually feeding those present with many different delicacies from the café and supplying tea, coffee and cool drinks all round.

Thank you Grahame for a great morning.
